I just found out that I won the Bell Helmets Photo Contest!
I entered a number of pictures, but this shot, both taken by and selected by Kristen, was the winning entry:
The prize is Cadel Evans’ one-of-a-kind World Champion edition Bell Volt! Well, not his actual helmet. He will be allowed to keep his. I will get my own.
I’ve worn Bell lids since the mid 90s. I’ve tried others since then, and nothing else has ever fit my head properly. I’ve been looking for another Bell for about a year now, and I finally have one! A KICK ASS ONE!
And of course thanks to James Scott, fellow Fat Cyclist supporter, standing in the background. It’s always my favorite part of this shot.
