Having tackled both of the gaps in this stage as part of 6 Gaps, I dragged Kristen to the top of App Gap on Saturday to pay homage to the third stage of the GMSR. It’s quite a drive (about 2.5 hours north), but its worth supporting riders going through this kind of suffering. I’d love to give this race a shot some day. I’d be about as competitive as a cat on a skateboard, but it’d be worth doing just to do.
